The council is committed to engaging with all residents and thus a number of council events are held throughout the year, giving residents an opportunity to come together as a community and to find out more about their council and the services it provides.
The council is dedicated to sustainable practices, working with local suppliers, producers and organisations to run events.
Chairman's civic events are also organised for the chairman's civic year to raise funds for his chosen charities.

organised by the Chairman of New Forest District Council in conjunction with Lyndhurst Community Centre.
